Even as a six year old on that sunny sidewalk sitting next to the reporter, I knew there was some special reason I was chosen to interview. Mrs. Isgett, my first grade teacher was asked to choose one student to explain the meaning of Thanksgiving. I’ve known since then that my words linger in the air a bit longer than some and often cause people to reflect and sometimes act. God has gifted me with the ability to convey my heart in such a way that it voluntarily evokes vulnerability from others. I do not take that lightly and ask his blessing before I type or say the first word. He has shown me how we can transform our trauma through prayer and supplication. I promise to only show the scars not the wounds in hopes that they may heal you too. I can show you how when he breaks us it will reveal our purpose. In that process he will also reveal the way he is working all things for our good and where all our secret weapons are hidden.
